To Do: Did you know Cedar Key has a disc golf course? It is located at Cemetery Point Park, which is on the backside of Cedar Key Cemetery. You can take the board walk at the entrance to the cemetery or walk to the back of the cemetery and go around the gates. (You can not drive a car or golf cart to the course.) The cemetery is located off of Gulf Blvd.

The course is known as a beginner friendly course but can be a little technical due to the natural landscape of the area. There are trees and shrubs throughout. Look for the long white pvc pole that is usually propped against a tree if you need to retrieve a disc.

Do remember to bring your bug spray! The majority of the year, sand gnats are out and will find you quickly. You’ll have a much better time if you prepare for them. If you find yourself wanting to play but have no discs, just visit the Cedar Key Welcome Center at 450 2nd St. They have loaner discs that you can sign out and return.
