At the City of Cedar Key Commission meeting, Tuesday, April 21, 2026, two commissioner were sworn in by Levy County Judge Luis Bustamante. Nancy Sera was re-elected to seat 2 and Dell Weible was elected for seat 4. The commission then voted Jim Wortham as Mayor and Mel Beckham as Vice Mayor.
