The Cedar Key community is coming together for a special evening under the stars with a "Movies in the Park" event. Scheduled for Saturday, August 22, at 8:30 PM, this free community gathering will take place at Cedar Key City Park.
The night’s feature presentation will be DreamWorks' animated favorite, Shark Tale. Attendees of all ages are invited to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and your snacks to enjoy the outdoor screening.
In addition to the movie presentation, the event features several pre-show activities starting at 7:30 PM:
Face Painting & Princess Photos: Guests can enjoy face painting activities and photo opportunities with a princess.
"Katie's Closet" Costume Drive: Attendees are encouraged to donate gently used or old costumes to support "Katie's Closet," a community initiative collecting attire for local kids, in loving memory of Katelyn Allen
