CEDAR KEY, FL — The Old Florida Celebration of the Arts (OFCA) has officially opened submissions for its highly anticipated 2027 Design Contest. This annual tradition offers a unique opportunity for local and regional artists to showcase their talents and have their work featured as the face of one of the area’s most beloved spring events.
Each year, the OFCA selects a winning artist whose original artwork becomes the signature image for the upcoming Spring Festival. For 2027, the chosen masterpiece will be prominently featured on all official festival promotional materials, including posters, postcards, T-shirts, and advertisements.
The upcoming festival is scheduled to take place on April 3–4, 2027.
This Year’s Theme: "Coastal Memories"
For the 2027 contest, organizers are inviting artists to draw inspiration from the theme "Coastal Memories." Submissions should reflect creativity, community engagement, and the vibrant spirit of the arts.
While artists are encouraged to interpret the theme through their own unique creative lens, the selection committee has noted that vertical format works best for the festival's promotional layouts.
Submission Guidelines & Requirements
Medium: Original 2D artwork.
Submission Format: Artists must submit 2 digital images of their work.
Information Needed: Include your full name and up-to-date contact information.
