Quick Fact: Legend has it (and locals confirm) that Jimmy Buffett used to frequent the Island Hotel bar in the 1970s and 1980s, occasionally giving impromptu concerts. This helped cement Cedar Key’s reputation as a "Trop Rock" (Tropical Rock) sanctuary.
