The Old Florida Celebration of the Arts was held on April 11 & 12.

The art festival lined 2nd street with wonderful art with lots of food and music at City Park. We had beautiful weather and many people came out to enjoy the event. See several pictures and read more at the I Love Cedar Key blog.

The Cedar Key City Commission election was held just a few days ago on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Voter turnout was high for the municipal election, with 399 ballots cast out of 582 registered voters (approximately 68.6%).

On the I Love Cedar Key Facebook page, this image got a lot of attention. Fans of Steamers are happy to hear that plans are progressing for the building of the beloved restaurant. The location will be on 1st St. next to the fire station. It is expected to be completed by Spring of 2027. Stay tuned for more information!
