A packed patio for the premier of “Mostly Naked and Afraid.”

It was a great turnout at the Island Hotel for the premier of, “Mostly Naked and Afraid” on Friday, March 27, 2026. The spoof reality survival film by Cedar Key local Michael Presley Bobbitt drew a lively crowd to the historic Island Hotel for an evening of entertainment with a heartfelt purpose. Attendees enjoyed the film's humorous take on the reality TV genre.

The premise of the film was six Cedar Key locals were taken to two different islands and left with minimal resources for three days. Each was equipped with a camera to record their experience. We watched as they all had their own way of making shelter, finding food, and battling the unexpected cold weather. In true Bobbitt fashion, there were plenty of laughs along the way.

The event served as a fundraiser for the Cedar Key Food Pantry and the local disaster relief fund. The film is also available on a pay-per-view basis as an ongoing fundraiser. Follow this link for that option.
